Road to Wellbriety Study groups and Wellbriety Movement programs.
Educational experiences that promote personal growth, decision
making, healing family and interpersonal relationships along with learning to apply Native American teachings and principles to personal
recovery efforts.
Participants will also learn about the referral resources and the role of the Recovery Coaches in the Warrior
Down Team.
Warrior Down Guidelines
The Warrior Down Relapse Prevention and Recovery Support Program follows
the guidelines established by White Bison, Inc. Wellbriety for Prisons. We have found in the past through trial and error that by
following these guidelines and adjusting to fit the community needs the Warrior Down Relapse Prevention and Recovery Support Program
has a better success rate.
Warrior Down was designed for Native Americans using the traditional Native American teachings and
12 Steps methods for recovery. Although Warrior Down is for Native Americans it does not exclude those other Brothers and Sisters
of the Four Directions. We just ask that those Brothers and Sisters honor and respect our methods of recovery. Warrior Down is based
on the Native American spiritual teachings but honors and respects and incorporates other spiritual teachings. We encourage those
individuals who follow the spiritual teachings of other recovery programs to use these teachings on their recovery journey. Warrior
Down is a holistic approach to recovery.
