WARRIOR DOWN
November 29, 2010
Beginning on December 10, 2010 we will have a Warrior Down Orientation for all interested individuals wishing
to join the Great Falls Warrior Down program. The Orientation will go over the requirements to join our group. At the Orientation
you will need to fill out Personal Information Data Form which must be turned in before you leave the Orientation.
On December
16 & 17, Sacred Web Recovery Coalition and the Warrior Down program was chosen to become the pilot Intake and Care Coordination
site and program for the ATR (Access to Recovery) III program. As we prepare for this honor we learned at the gathering what the ATR
III grant will require of all those organization participating in the program. Of particular interest was the list of Underseved Population
Groups that SAMHSA would like to see worked with utilizing the ATR program. The groups included in our outreach are Adolescents Age
15-17 years of age, Non-Indian family members, Native Americans Veterans, active duty military, National Guard and reserves,
Re-entry from prisons and on probation/parole, Drug Court participants, Homeless and Co-occuring Mental Health Disorder. The
tentative enrollment date to begin the ATR III program is December 31, 2010 at which time those individuals who are eligible to join
the ATR III program. Tentatively we are scheduled to start out with 10 new clients for the month of January. We will announce later
when we will begin our enrollment for new clients.

announce later when we will begin enrolling our 10 new clients. Each month more clients will be added. The ATR III grant is being
administered by the Montana-Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council (Rocky Mountain Tribal) located in Billings, MT. This is the second time
that they have been awarded the ATR (Access to Recovery) grant.
Our parent organization Sacred Web Recovery Coalition will be
responsible for the enrollment of potential new clients for the ATR program. We want to reach out to those visitors to our web pages
who are interested in joining Warrior Down to pass the word on to their family members, friends and acquaintances about the Warrior
Down program.
Our Recovery Support Meetings are facilitated by members of Great Falls Warrior Down who are Certified Facilitators
for the Wellbriety meetings or mentoring under a Certified Facilitator. Warrior Down is a Peer to Peer based program where we as Peers
teach and support our Brothers and Sisters with their own Recovery Journey. We have seen how successful Warrior Down helps those individuals
who are committed to following the teachings and following their Recovery Coaches advice. We want to encourage our readers to learn
more about Warrior Down by visiting "What is Warrior Down all about?" page on our site. After reading about the Warrior Down we would
like to invite those of you who would like to make a Non-tax deductible donation to visit the donation page.
